Bajaj Auto's Pulsar series has been the most successful in India. And now taking the series forward, the company has recently launched the new Pulsar 125 Neon.

Looks

At first sight, this bike will remind you of Pulsar 150 Neon. Except for the engine, everything else in this bike is the same as seen in Pulsar 150 Neon. Well, the new Pulsar 125 Neon also looks much better. In this, the grab rail, 3D LOGO on the rear cowl, Pulsar LOGO, and black alloy wheels give it a very rich feel. It gets a semi-digital instrument cluster

Dimension

The Pulsar 125 Neon measures 2,055mm in length, 755mm in width, and 790mm in height. While its wheelbase is 1,320 mm and ground clearance is 165 mm. The bike weighs 140 kg and its fuel tank holds 11.5 liters. The pulsar 125 Neon is the heaviest bike of its kind.

Price and Variants

Pulsar 125 Neon is available in two variants drum and disc. Its drum brake version costs Rs 64,000 while the disc brake version costs Rs 66,618. This bike is available in three color options - Neon Blue, Solar Red, and Platinum Silver, but we got to ride its Solar Red color which really gives this bike a different appeal.

Engine

Engine: 124.4 cc, DTS-i

Power: 12 PS

Torque: 11 Nm

Gear: 5 Speed

Weight: 140 kgs

Mileage: 57.5 kmpl

Fuel Tank: 11.5 liters

Riding and Handling

Its handling maintains confidence no matter what. It easily catches the speed of 0-60 and 0-80 kmph. But the bike takes a while to accelerate to 80-100 kmph. But we would not recommend you to ride at high speed. You will enjoy driving this bike at a speed of 60-70 kmph. Bike is very smooth. At present, the engine does not vibrate even in high speed. Its NVH level is good.

Its suspension does not disappoint and it easily overcomes bad roads.

Break

The bike features a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Now since it is a 125cc segment bike, it does not get anti-lock braking system but to make up for that shortcoming, CBS (combined braking system) has been given in it. With the help of CBS, it helps to stop the bike quickly. This means the bike felt good in terms of braking Bajaj's new Pulsar 125 Neon is the most powerful bike in the 125cc segment. Despite its design is simple, it looks very attractive. You will enjoy driving it and the biggest thing is that the company has kept its price right, which is another plus point. If you are bored of driving the existing 125cc bikes, then you must check out the new Pulsar 125 Neon.
