BMW R 1250 GS Latest Update

BMW has launched the 2019 R 1250 GS in India. Prices start from Rs 16.85 lakh and go all the way up to Rs 21.85 lakh. This is a premium of Rs 1 lakh over the outgoing model. Bookings for the bike have already commenced for an amount of Rs 3 lakh and deliveries are expected to begin in February 2019. The R 1250 GS is powered by a 1,254cc Boxer twin-cylinder engine that churns out 136PS of power and 143Nm of peak torque. BMW has also introduced variable valve timing to the range with the R 1250 GS. Branded as Shift cam, the system also varies valve lift in addition to valve timing and is expected to make the bike Euro-V-compliant. And in a welcome move, the 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster that was optional on the outgoing bike is now offered as standard. It rivals the Triumph Tiger 1200 and Ducati Multistrada 1260. The price alternative of the BMW R 1250 GS is the Harley Davidson Fat Boy. Price alternative of the BMW R 1250 GS is the Ducati Diavel 1260.
