Hero Passion Pro Highlights

Hero MotoCorp has hiked prices for its motorcycles and scooters once again. Its most affordable bike now gets the most bump in premium.

Hero has introduced two new trims of the Passion 110: XTec drum and XTec disc. Prices for this variant start from Rs 74,590 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it around Rs 3,770 dearer than the standard drum version of the Passion. Check out more details about the new trim in this story.

 Hero Passion Pro Price:

Hero BS6 Passion Pro is available in six trims. The latest price of the Hero Passion Pro drum brake version is Rs 72,320, while that of the disc brake is Rs 75,320. The 100 Million Edition of the Passion Pro retails at Rs Rs 74,120 (front drum) and Rs 77,120 (front disc). The newly launched XTec versions cost Rs 74,590 and Rs 78,990 for the respective drum and disc options. All prices, ex-showroom Delhi.

 Hero Passion Pro Features:

Hero MotoCorp has kitted the Passion Pro BS6 with a few new features. The front fascia is sharper with sleek tank extensions on the commuter motorcycle. The headlight and other lighting systems remain bulb lit. The Hero Passion Pro’s semi-digital information console gets a real-time mileage indicator. Hero’s trademarked engine idle start-stop technology, i3S, is standard on the Passion Pro.

 Hero Passion Pro Engine:

After the BS6 updates, the 110cc motor of the Hero Passion Pro pumps out 9.1PS and 9.79Nm. The BS6 figures are 0.41PS less and 0.79Nm more than the BS4 motor. Hero claims the BS6 motor delivers five per cent more mileage than before. You get a four-speed gearbox on the Passion Pro.

 Hero Passion Pro Suspension & Brakes:

The Passion Pro uses a diamond frame with increased suspension travel at both ends. Ground clearance too has gone up to 180mm -- 15mm more than the BS4 bike. The more affordable variant of the Passion Pro gets 130mm drum brakes at both ends. A 240mm front disc brake comes as an option on the Passion Pro.

 Hero Passion Pro Rivals:

The Hero Passion Pro is a premium 110cc offering from the brand. Its utilitarian design has received a youthful touch with the BS6 updates. Primary rivals of the Hero Passion Pro BS6 are the Bajaj Platina 110 H-Gear, Honda CD110 Dream BS6 and the TVS Radeon. For the same price though, you can also get the Hero Splendor, Pulsar 125, Activa 6G and Hero Splendor iSmart.
