Hyundai Tucson Latest Update
Latest Update: The 2022 Tucson has secured three stars in Latin NCAP, scoring 50 percent for adult occupant protection and just five percent for child occupant protection tests.
Price: Its prices range between Rs 27.70 lakh and Rs 34.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: It is offered in two trims: Platinum and Signature.
Seating Capacity: The Hyundai Tucson provides seating for five occupants.
Engine and Transmission: The SUV gets two engine options: a 2-liter diesel (making 186PS and 416Nm) and a 2-liter petrol unit (156PS and 192Nm). Both units get a torque-converter automatic gearbox, an eight-speed unit with diesel, and a six-speed with petrol. The top-end diesel engines can also be had with an all-wheel-drive system.
Features: Features on board the SUV include a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a 10.25-inch driver's display, connected car technology with remote operation, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. It also comes with powered, heated, and ventilated front seats and wireless phone charging.
Safety: Safety equipment on the Tucson includes six airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill hold/descent control, all-wheel disc brakes, and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). The ADAS tech includes blind-spot monitoring and collision avoidance, auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, and lane-keep assist.
Rivals: Hyundai’s SUV competes against the Jeep Compass, Citroen C5 Aircross, and the Volkswagen Tiguan.
