15 February 2018: Indian Scout Sixty is the youngest and the most affordable cruisers of the Indian Motorcycle family. The bike has typical cruiser looks and has been built on a lightweight chassis that provides strength and responsive handling experience to the rider. Under the cover, it has a liquid-cooled V-Twin 999cc engine with the closed loop fuel injection system. The engine generates a max power output of 7hp and a peak torque of 88Nm at 5,000rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, features a considerable wheelbase of 1562mm and a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 litres. The Scout Sixty is good enough to yield a fuel economy of 25Kmpl. Design-wise it gets blacked-out headlight, handlebars and durable cast aluminium wheels. In addition, there are elements like fleet-sided fenders, dual exhaust outputs dipped in chrome, curved fuel tank, tyre-hugging and fleet-sided fenders and a sleek, solo black seat. On the suspension front, it has a conventional telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. On the braking front, it sports 2-piston caliper single 298mm disc at the front and 1-piston caliper single 298mm disc at the rear. It has ABS as standard and comes with a low seat height of 25.3 inches. The Indian Scout Sixty is priced at Rs 14.05 Lakh (On road, Delhi). There are four colour choices available including Thunder Black, Polished Bronze, Indian Motorcycle Red and Thunder Black over Titanium Metallic with Fireball Pinstripe.
