Mahindra XUV400 EV Latest Update

Latest Update: The XUV400 EV has been revealed by Mahindra. The test drive for the electric SUV will commence from December, and bookings will start from January 2023.

Launch: The electric SUV is set to be launched in January 2023.

Price: Mahindra could price its electric SUV from Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Seating Capacity: It is a five-seater electric SUV.

Battery Pack and Range: The XUV400 EV houses a 39.4kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 456km. With a 50kW DC fast charger, the EV can be charged up to 80 percent in only 50 minutes. With a 7.2kW charger, it can be fully charged in six hours and 30 minutes. The same is achieved in 13 hours with a standard 3.3kW domestic socket.

Features: The features list comprises a single-pane sunroof, seven-inch touchscreen system with 60+ connected car features, and push-button start-stop.

Safety: Passenger safety kit includes six airbags, cornering brake control, electronic stability control (ESC), a rear parking camera, and multiple active safety features. 

Rivals: The electric vehicle from Mahindra will rival the Tata Nexon EV Prime and Tata Nexon EV Max, while being an affordable alternative to the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV.
