Ducati Multistrada 950 Price in India

Ducati offers only the Multistrada 950 S in India for now. It is available only in Ducati Red color at Rs 15.49 lakh. In comparison, the regular BS4-compliant Ducati Multistrada 950 was priced at 12.84 lakh (both ex-showroom India). Expect the newer GP White color variant of the Multistrada 950S to be offered in the near future. Bookings for the red color variant are open for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh and deliveries will commence soon.

Ducati Multistrada 950 Features

The Ducati Multistrada 950 gets a six-axis IMU from Bosch which offers lean-sensitive traction control and cornering ABS. Other notable features in the S variant include Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO, a bi-directional quick-shifter, cruise control, LED lighting with cornering lights, and a 5-inch color TFT console with smartphone compatibility. On the other hand, the regular variant gets an LCD instrument cluster. Both variants come with four riding modes as well as hill hold control.

Ducati Multistrada 950 Engine

The ADV is powered by the same 937cc L-twin Testastretta engine, however, it now complies with Euro-5/BS6 emission norms. The motor puts out 114.5PS/96Nm and is linked to a 6-speed transmission with a hydraulically actuated slipper clutch. The S variant comes with a standard bi-directional quick shifter.

Ducati Multistrada 950 Suspension & Brakes

The standard variant rides on a 48mm KYB inverted front fork and a rear Sachs mono-shock, both fully adjustable. Underpinnings of the Ducati Multistrada 950 S variant include an electronically controlled semi-active inverted front fork and rear mono-shock. The bike comes to a halt using dual 320mm discs with Brembo monobloc caliper and a 265mm rear disc with Brembo floating caliper. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires.

Ducati Multistrada 950 Rivals

The Ducati Multistrada 950 S will compete against the Triumph Tiger 900, Kawasaki Versys 1000, and the upcoming Suzuki V-Strom 1050.
