Ducati Scrambler 1100 Highlights

Ducati has launched the Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro In India At Rs 12.89 Lakh.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Price:

Ducati offers the Scrambler 1100 in two variants, Pro and Sport Pro priced at Rs 11.95 lakh and Rs 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. It’s Ducati’s second BS6-compliant motorcycle for the Indian market after the Panigale V2.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Features:

Each variant gets its own specific color and body panel that accentuate the individual themes. What remains in stock is the LCD fully-digital display, which is slightly different than the one found on the smaller Scrambler. The asymmetrical design was necessary as the Scrambler 1100 has a couple of adjustable electronic aids that need to be represented on the dash. The X-shaped LED DRLs first made an appearance on the Scrambler 1100, before making their way onto the smaller Scrambler. Aside from the halogen bulb-lit headlight, all illumination systems are LED-lit. As a part of the BS6 update, the bikes get a single-sided stacked exhaust and new color schemes.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Engine:

A 1,079cc air-cooled L-twin engine powers the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro as well as the Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro. The former produces 84.7PS at 7250rpm and 90.5Nm at 4750rpm. On the other hand, the latter generates 85.65PS at 7500rpm and 88Nm at 4750rpm. A six-speed transmission is mated to the engine with a hydraulically actuated slip-and-assist clutch. The Scrambler 1100 features a few electronic rider aids such as traction control, Bosch Cornering ABS, and three riding modes: City, Journey, and Active.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Suspension & Brakes:

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro gets a 45mm Marzocchi fully-adjustable USD fork and a preload and rebound-adjustable Kayaba mono-shock. The Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro trim gets higher-spec Ohlins units with the same amount of adjustability as the 1100 Pro variant. Both variants have the same 320mm discs with Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers on the front wheel and a 245mm rotor with a single-piston sliding caliper on the rear wheel, aided by a dual-channel cornering ABS from Bosch. The two bikes use an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear alloy wheel with block pattern tires.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 Rivals:

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 goes head to head with the Triumph Scrambler 1200, though the British motorcycle is a more serious off-roader. For the same price as the Scrambler 1100, you could also buy the Triumph Speed Twin, the Triumph Street Triple RS, or the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, however, a couple of these are still to receive their BS6 updates.
